Welcome to the Pre-K1 class!
This class offers a more structured setting as your student prepares for kindergarten. We work toward recognition of upper and lower case letters as well as number recognition and number sense.
A look into the room
This class meets four days a week; Monday through Thursday from 9:15-11:45. Each day will have a maximum of 12 students with a teacher and an aide.
We work on building a firm foundation as our students prepare for kindergarten. We focus on mastering both capital and lower case letters, as well as numbers and number sense. We also work on fine motor skills, with special attention to use of writing utensils and learning to write our names. We also work on building on our social skills - learning patience, following directions , and daily peer interactions.
